How could I get my hair like this? - November 2nd 2010, 09:04 PM

I've found three styles that I'd like to try to do my hair like, I just have no idea how to go about it.

The first is like this (there's other views of it if you scroll down a little)

And the second is this: http://www.fanplusfriend.com/servlet...a-Dandy/Detail

and the third would be this

But with the flicks more toned down

My hair looks kinda like this...

You'd need to use a LOT of hairspray to get it to flick outwards, and you'd need to keep your hair quite short for it to work. (I know it's short-ish already but that's one thing to consider if it's not working right.)
Is it possible that the images were photoshopped? It just seems that their hair is sort of defying gravity a bit...
Take care hun

Hey hey.

If it's the cut that you need, take a photo or two to your hairdresser. They will be able to cut it the right way. But for the styling, you'll need loads of hairspray and wax. It might not look exactly as the photos do. It's kind of really sticking up and it might be a bit impossible to do, but you can pretty much do anything with some good hair products.

Hey

The first two pictures are wigs and imitating that would take a whole lot of dedication and time. I suggest that you buy the wigs and put them over your regular hair if you want that style.
For the third, it does seem to be defying gravity a bit. However, I'm sure that you can get your hair similar to that if you would like. You should take that in to a stylist and discuss the options with him/her.

As far as the wigs go, the style looks essentially like a shorter-style hairdo with extensions underneath. Maybe find a style similar without the random long bits?

For the first two, they're wigs . . . but if you want something like that, you'll need to cut your hair at the back a bit shorter, use a lot of hairspray, tease the crap out of it, and maybe try a bit of curling. Ask your hair dresser for some tips, they'll help tons.

For the second, you'll still need to cut your hair, try looking into some hair wax stuff, that's really good for making it flip, and when your straighten it, use lots of spray and flip the ends out. Again ask your hair dresser for tips.
