Semi hair style? -

So my school's christmas semi-formal is coming up friday, and I've no idea what I should do with my hair. So far my only plan is to redye it totally black (I got purple in my bangs atm), but other then that I don't know if I even CAN do anything because it's short-ish.
Here are some examples of what my hair looks like now casually:    (Remember I'll be dyeing the black out soon) All ideas are appreciated  Thankies!

First you should straighten your hair.
Then, tease the back and some of the sides of your hair. After that, take your bangs and put them flat to the side. Hairspray, mousse, and gel will be necessities for that hairdo.
