heat protectors? - January 1st 2011, 10:04 PM

Do heat protectors work?

& Does anyone here use a type of heat protector before they straighten/blow dry/curl their hair!?
If so... what brand/kind?

I refuse to style my hair without heat protector.

When using a heat protector, you can't go with store brands. You have to get them from online, a salon, your stylist.

A cheaper one that I like to use before I go to bed. It's a leave in conditioner and heat protectant.

Another I LOVE. Best I've ever used in my hair... It makes your hair shiny, good for your color, provides protection again heat, and restores your hair.

I only straighten my bangs, but every time I do, I use "got2be", and it's worked pretty well for me so far. It's kinda pricey, but I love it.

I will not let heat go anywhere near my hair without it.
I've been using Tresemme lately, and other random ones. They do the job pretty well

I use iron guard spray on my hair when straightening. It seems to work.
