I'm 20 an I will be doing it in February! Shaving it off to rasie money for cancer and donating my hair to help clean up BP oil spill.
Word of warning as there was some controversy over these hair charities. Allegedly Locks of Love do not always use the hair you send as they have very strict criteria such as it cannot be dyed before this etc. Usually they dont even use your hair to make a wig to cancer patients or alopecia suffers but sell the hair to cover overheads of the company or even just throw it away as its not useable so you should do some research before you donate. I have never shaved my head, but I have donated hair before.
 It's so much fun.I will bet you will rock the shaved head look.
