Up Styles For Mid-length Hair? -

Well, my birthday party is coming up and I'm a bit bored of my hair always being either straight or up in a ponytail.
I'm planning on going to the hairdressers a few hours before the actual party to have it styled but I have no idea what to ask for. I've tried googling but all the up styles I find are for people with longer hair than me.  That's the most recent pic I have, the only difference is now I have a full fringe

uSE bobby pins. Pin back your side bangs and do a lil poof and tease the back of your hair. That always looks cute on people (:
