need help on dying hair - March 1st 2011, 10:38 AM

i been wanting do dye my hair blue but i dont know wat i need to keep it that way



if i act normal then im not okay

Firstly, unless you have blonde hair it's very unlikely that the blue will show up. Because of this bleach would have to be used first and if your hair is especially dark then it can take a lot of work for it to be made lighter so I'd suggest going to the hairdressers to get this done professionally if you do have really dark hair.

If you have blonde hair then it's much more simpler. Just find a blue hair dye (most of them are semi permanent). Brands that are well known for having bright colours are Manic Panic, Directions and Stargazer so google them to find where to buy online or if you live near any 'alternative/goth' shops they usually stock them.

Since most dyes like that are semi permanent you might want to buy a few bottles of it to top the colour up every so often. Also, invest in a good colour protection shampoo

As Cara said, unless you have very light coloured hair, it won't show up too well. As an alternative you can get dye that gives off a blue sheen when the light hits it. I think it looks awesome!
