Tease Tips, Products to Use -
March 19th 2011, 06:31 PM
So I got my haircut a few days ago, it's short with lots of choppy layers. I really wanna try teasing it to get a scene/emo look. Any tips? I already watched a few youtube videos.
Also, what products would you recomend? I used my mom's white rain hairspray and mouse, but didn't really like them. And what brand of styling wax would you recomend, for a really messy look? I'm kinda low on money, so I can't afford anything too expensive. "I myself am made of imperfections, stitched together with good intentions."

Use a comb where the teeth are very close together and back comb about an inch from your roots and use lots of hairspray. Maybe put some styling gel in after you wash your hair to make it more manageable.

Just so you're aware, not that I'm trying to put you off it, but teasing absolutely kills your hair if you do it a lot. Personally, I'd suggest teasing your hair as little as possible and focus on naturally volumizing and texturizing your hair. I would suggest Bed Head and Osis+ products, but they're a bit more expensive. Pantene and L'Oreal are my personal favorites for hair products.
"Love me for me, accept the fact I'm true, live like I want, fufill my dreams, Dream of me, run out free, capture your words and never let them go." I'll see you on the other side. |
