Hairstyles that might suit me? - September 1st 2011, 05:02 PM

Hmmmmm well I'd like to do something a bit different with my hair. At the moment, it's just past my shoulders, and a bit layered, and brown. And idk. I'd like maybe a side-fringe (ooh, sorry, 'bangs' :P) kinda... swept. But i don't know if I could pull it off?

^ That kinda fringe.

^ Or like that.

At one point, I considered having a pixie-cut, but my 'friends' talked me out of it. And now I don't think I will. But this is the style I was considering v

^ OR short at back, long at front.

^ That's what my hair looks like if I just leave it to dry (on a good day.)

^That's it straightened.

So I suppose I'm just kinda asking in general... What do you think would suit me?

I was also considering dying it bright red or something But I'm not sure how that would match my personality :') Or my parents... xD

Any suggestions?

I think the first sort of bangs would suit you, and maybe get the rest of your hair cut so its not all one length? Like short at the front and then getting longer at the back
And if you want to dye it I could see you with red with a tint of brown in it
It'd look good I thinnkk (: aha

I think that either of the hairstyles with 'bangs' (why are they called that? ) would suit you.

You might however, want to invest in some hairspray if you don't have any already. This girl I knew had one of those fringes and I always wondered how she managed to keep it sitting to the side and out of her eyes. Turns out a fine mist of hairspray was the answer.

I'd keep the length. It suits you!

Pixie cuts ore drastic. If you don't like them you have to wait forever for them to grow out.
I think that your colour is lovely and just a suttle hint of red would look gorgeous. Kind of a copper colour.

As for the styles, I reckon a side fringe like the ones you've shown would definitely suit you! A few layers and having it feathered around your face wouldn't hurt either!

By the way, you are absolutely gorgeous!

Just thought I'd add this picture. I dyed my hair 'copper' (THE BOTTLE LIED TO ME!!!!) just over a year ago, so I look dead young in this photo :') I ended up liking it anyway, it was just alot redder than I expected! :') But this is what it looked like...

And thanks for your replies so far <3

Like you say, the colour is redder than copper should be... Maybe streak your hair with a dark red or something? But only from half way down your head, so it blends in.

If you have the money you could go to the hairdressers and get them to tint/highlight your hair. But it's easy to do it yourself, you just need to use foils

Dying your hair full on red is extremely hard to get out. I dyed mine red over a year ago and then dyed it brown... When the colour fades you can still see hints of red...

That dye wasn't permanent - it was meant to last 3 washes (but lasted about 30 haha.) But it has faded now

Thanks for your advice <3

I personally like the first picture. Just don't do the duck face. God that looks so ridiculous.

Take me seriously.
I dare you.
