Got a bad hairline, but am I able to grow it long?

Well, I got all my haircut ages ago because I kept dying my hair so I got it all cut to let it grow in better condition, but I have a receding hairline I think that is what its called.

This is my hairline with short hair,

Am I able to grow my hair in a style like this?

You should have no problem growing your hair out, but it might not look like it does in the photo's you've provided. We all have different or strange hairlines, and while mine isn't perfect, I've been growing my hair out for a year and a half or so now. It's about the middle of my back. Give it a try; if it doesn't work, you could always just cut it short again, and ask your stylist what hairstyle would work best for you. Experimentation is the best way to figure it out.

Well I guess if I got better shampoo for when it's growing it may look a bit nicer too maybe?

Shampoo doesn't style the hair, it just keeps it clean. You'll need some type of styling product.

I heard that eating stuff like fish will make your hair grow better,
Will fish fingers be usefull for that?

No, it won't. And, it's not actual FISH, it's fish oils. However, fish oils will fail in making your hair grow, but it will make it healthier (like getting rid of split ends, and dryness). It won't make your hair grow. If you have a receding hair line, there isn't much you can do to make your hair grow back in that specific area.

Ah right, well, what type of stuff will help my hair grow healthier? Or should I just try and eat nicely while it's growing, then do stuff to it when it's a bit longer?

Using a shampoo based on your hair type (such as dry, curly, straight) will help keep your hair healthy. Also, as I mentioned above, fish oils (Or the Omega 3 vitamin) will help your hair look healthier as well. Try to stay away from things that will dry out your hair, like styling products. A little is okay here and there, but nothing to excessive. Try to wash your hair every day, and if you can't, every other day.

Your hairline really shouldn't have too much of an impact on you growing your hair. Plenty of people with big widow's peaks and whatnot still have bangs, so I wouldn't worry too much about it. Also, I'd say to actually try to go a few days without washing your hair to keep it healthy. If you don't wash it for a few days, the natural oils from your scalp can be distributed when you brush your hair and it'll help keep your hair healthy. That said, don't go for as long as you can, because build up on your scalp screws up your hair growing. Try to wash every two or three days.
