Has anyone had thereís done ? Iíve been thinking of getting mine done but Iíve got a really low pain threshold and was wondering how much it will hurt if I go ahead with it...?

Honestly, mine was SO sore after I got it done. After that though, it wasn't too bad.

I barely felt a thing! And wasn't too bad afterward either.

I got one back in January & the pain wasn't too bad. I hate needles, so I was worried about it, but it didn't hurt much, it was just unexpected since it was a different kind of pain compared to ear piercings. It was a bit sore for a few days, but again, nothing major.

I just got mine done today actually.
It hurt a bit more than I expected, but it wasn't anything unbearable. Mine was only sore for a couple hours afterwards so far.
If you want one, then just get it done regardless of pain. Its worth it.

And here you are living, despite it all.

I got mine done a month ago, it's still a bit sore at times for some reason but I love it! The pain was weird for me with this piercing but it's worth it if you want one, trust me. They're soooo pretty!

For me it hurt worse than some I've had, and I ended up taking it out (it's because I was too fat to ever show it off) but honestly it's totally worth the pain.

Mine hurt a little when I got it, less than I thought it would and was tender for a few hours.

Re: Belly button piercing... - June 25th 2012, 02:39 AM

I've had my belly button pierced twice. Once when I was 17, and had gone behind my parents back to get it done. The first time hurt slightly, but wasn't horrible pain. It's quick, like getting a shot done. The second time was after my 18th birthday, and I wanted to correct what went wrong the first time around (the piercing came out crooked). The second time hurt more since I had lots of scare tissue from the previous piercing, but after, I couldn't feel a thing. I felt some tenderness afterwards, but it wasn't unbearable.

Mine hurt pretty bad but not enough that I would say it wasn't worth it. mine bled a lot afterwards and i didn't even realize it until someone told me

the worst was when my then 5 year old cousin ran to gave me a hug and headbutted me right in the stomach a couple hours later ouch

What I've found with all of my piercings is they're never quite as bad as I was expecting them to be, haha. But my bellybutton really was nothing at all, it just felt like a tight pinch and then a poke and it was over. Just be careful with your aftercare and you'll be fine.

I'm trying to convince my mom to let me get a piercing (fingers crossed!) So I've been talking to all my friends that have gotten them.

Pretty much all of them have said that you just need to be really careful when putting on or taking off shirts for a little bit.
