Daith piercing care! - March 7th 2020, 05:18 AM

I got my right daith piercing done today and I'm just wondering if you have any aftercare tips to prevent infection. They gave me a solution to use but since I can't really see more than the tip of the piercing, I can't tell if I'm cleaning it adequately.

It definitely has a big bump now that may be a keloid and is starting to hurt when it's touched to be cleaned. I'm worried it's getting infected. :/ Any suggestions?

Hello Dez,

I am so sorry about you're ear and that you haven't had a reply yet. I hope that you're ear and you will be okay soon. Would you be able to talk to the doctor on the phone, if you do not want to go and see them? You would be able to tell them what is happening and if it is infected, then they would be able to give you something to help heal you're ear. Also you can try putting warm or cold compresses on it and see if that helps. I hope that you will be okay soon. Hugs

I did leave a message for my doctor on their online system since it’s the weekend. It’s hectic so I’ll give them a few business days to reply since I’m not actively dying or anything. If they want me to come in I will but I know they’re trying to prevent people from coming in and canceling unnecessary appointments.
