Tattoo design.

I'm looking to get a new tattoo on my shoulder/back area. I want something with flowers/stars/pretty lines in there too, does that makes sense? Anyway, I've searched on google for tattoo designs but most of the sites require you to pay or join up to get/see the image. I've looked on deviantart but most of the designs, you aren't allowed to take unless you modify them a bit and I don't want to steal someones design when I'm not allowed! And, I've tried to draw one up but I don't have any ideas or drawing skills which is a problem.

So, basically. Does anyone know where I can find designs to match what I said I wanted for free, or could anyone possibly do one for me or something? >.< I'm running out of places to look and the place I'd get the tattoo, I've looked there too but they don't really have anything that I like enough to have tattoo'd on me.

I'd offer, but would feel a) guilty charging someone on TeenHelp and b) don't want to be responsible if you decide you don't like it, in a year.

Why not ask someone at your parlor?

i'd suggest talking to a tattoo artist. i gave my tattoo artist a pic if the flower i wanted and she tweaked it a little and made it amazing. they're pretty good with sketching designs up for you.

Flickr should have some pretty good photos.

Also, if you find images of tattoos that you like or pictures etc, take it to your artist and explain what you want, they can draw something up using what you've given them.

Hey. Talking to your tattoo artist is probably the best thing to do. They should be able to draw something custom up for you. Google images is OK to use for designs if you're specific enough. Do you know what sort of flower you want? I designed something that sounds similar for my mum. She had a lily on her shoulder, with sort of swirls coming down with stars. If you type in star tattoos on Google also, there are loads of different designs.
I hope that helps; if you find any images of what you'd like, take them to your artist, or you could always post them here, I'd love to see what sort of tattoo you're going for :D

I actually didn't think they that they would draw up a design for me, stupidly enough so I'll try that. Thanks for the replies.

Hey-

I'd really love to see it when you get it if you don't mind. That sounds like a really cool idea. ^_^ I love all those kinds of stuff, and it's amazing how many different 'styles' so to speak you can get with flowers/stars/pretty lines and so forth. Lol.

They will. My artist drew one of my designs when I didn't know exactly how to put it (I do know her very well and she knows what I like).
