Belly Button.

So, I'm getting my bellybutton pierced for Christmas.
I reeeeally want it.
But, I'm a chicken. and can't handle pain.
I've punched a nurse when she gave me a shot before.
And it's no so much that it hurts. It's the thought, I don't know.
Does it hurt? Any advice on not hitting the piercing person in the face? (They really are more tough the pediatrician nurses, ya know)

Best thing is to do ur research and find a studio that uses aneasthetic! It will numb the area and you wont feel a thing. Doesnt hurt when they use that stuff, its a miracle
Take someone with you and tell ur piercer about ur reactions to pain! They'll understand

Honestly, a belly button doesn't hurt much at all. I know it's different for everyone. Maybe you hold someone's hand that you can squeeze and you take a deep breath before they push it through and let it out as they do.

And I'd talk to them about your nerves. They get a hundred people who are nervous, just like you are. I'm sure they can relax you a bit. Or maybe they can suggest a numbing agent like Jen said. They really can help sometimes.

And yeah. It was the bitter nurse you held you really tight and stabbed you. She really deserved it, but I felt bad about it after the panic was goneee. :/ Punching people solves nothing.
