Memoral tat

So I know a little while ago I made a thread about getting one.
Its for my grandparents. My grandfather just past in July of probably a lot of different things, he was just a very sick man. My grandma passed in 01 of her third relapse of cancer. It started out as lung cancer and then came back as a brain cancer.
Well my orginal tat was just going to be of their names then what I called them and then their dates of birth and death.

My brother is in the process of getting his memoral tattoo of them. He's getting their wedding picture tattooed on his ribcage and so far he only has my nanny and its beautiful.

He came up with a suggestion and I fell in love with it. A wine glass and a military cap. When I was little, I always remember my nanny at night (when i would stay over) she would get out her wine and well it wasn't a wine glass it was flinstone mcdonalds glass and well she would have her glass of wine. So I thought a wine glass would be perfect and my papaw was in the airforce I believe it was. And I was thinking about having the wine glass and the military cap like hanging off it or leaned up against it. And in the wine glass bottom I would have "Nanny" and the dates. Then with the militarty cap I would have on the front of it "Papaw" and the dates.

I was wondering what yall think.

(sorry for the long story. I just believe in tattoos with meaning and when I know my meaning I like to share)

Think it's super sweet that you want to get a tattoo for them! I think that sounds like a great idea. :-D
