Snake Bites: Studs? - January 4th 2011, 02:23 AM

So I'm getting snake bite piercings in January, but I have a small mouth and thin lips. Rings would just look stupid on me because of the size of my mouth, so I decided to get studs instead. But, because it's me and I looove to be difficult, I don't want the regular silver studs. I want ones that look like little minature diamonds. Is it even possible to get these? I've never seen anyone with them and I've yet to find a picture of studs that look like that, so I'm asking.

"Once a little boy sent me a charming card with a little drawing on it. I loved it.
I sent him a card and I drew a picture of a Wild Thing on it. I wrote,
“Dear Jim: I loved your card.”
Then I got a letter back from his mother and she said, “Jim loved your card so much he ate it.”
That to me was one of the highest compliments I’ve ever received. He didn’t care that it was an original Maurice Sendak drawing or anything.
He saw it, he loved it, he ate it."

I couldn't find any diamond snake bites, but I did find diamond labrets.

You could either change the piercing you want to get or ask your piercer about diamond snake bites.

These are the studs I use most of the time for mine and I love them.: http://painfulpleasures.com/xcart/cu...&cat=41&page=2

You can find them cheaper at stores like spencers, hot topic, even wal mart too if you don't want to spend that much. You could also find them at tattoo shops for a reasonable price too.

Alright, I'm liking how those look. And just to clarify, I didn't mean like actual diamonds. xD I'm not that high-maintenance. Just diamond-looking. Heh. Does anyone know approximately how long it is before I can change my piercings, then?

it's recommended you wait at least 4 weeks. some will recommend waiting a couple months. it's all depending on how your lip heals up. i changed out my last one about 3 weeks after it was pierced, even though it was healed, my lip still hates me for it. so i recommend waiting at least 4-5 weeks.

Changing period will vary person to person [depending on your own healing time] but I left it 10 weeks before I changed my labret stud.

Ebay! Search for plastic studs. Theyre usually push fit ones and you can trim them to size
