lip piercing care -
January 28th 2011, 03:46 PM
i just got my lip pierced (snakebites) and i was wondering how long should i keep doing the whole mouthwash and saltwater routine? someone told me to do it until it's fully healed, but i don't really know how to tell. (this is my first piercing besides lobes and i kept cleaning them for however many weeks they told me, but noone's given me a time frame or anything this time so i'm confused.)

I've heard it's about 2-3 months but I would personally clean it for 3 month just to be safe
Everthing I see seems to be a lie. And everything you see in me you think is the truth. But, really all you see is what I'm masking the real me with. You never see me cry. Because I'll never let you. And you'll never see me die because I feel like I already have in a way.

Lol none taken and I would feel that same way :P Although, if you put it in prospective, it's not that long compared to cleaning a belly piercing 2 times a day for 6 months

You dont need to keep cleaning it for 3 months.
Do it for at least a week, and whenever you want after then. When you want to change your bar/ring, you can clean then and always make sure your jewellry is sterile, and your hands clean etc etc. She flies with her own wings |
