I got my tongue done Yesturday. after years of asking my mum she finally went for it and let me. i dont regret it at all just in slight pain from it lol...
I have some questions. ** Can I eat dairy products. the person that done it says yes, but my friend got told no when she had it done. appently the bacteria in dairy and yeast can cause problems ? ** im in a lot of pain - the bar is too big and keeps catching on the tongue webbing cause it painful to swallow. obvi i cant change the bar yet but is there any hint or tips on how to avoide this? anything i can take to reduce the swelling and pain? |

My after care tips are rising your mouth out with mouthwash after every meal. Preferably a mixture of half mouthwash and half water, as pure mouthwash can be painful. Dairy products won't effect you if you do that.
As to reduce the swelling, drink plenty of ice cold water, there's nothing much else that will help. But it'll only be a week or so til the swelling goes down and you get the new bar put in [: "Life is pain, anybody that says different is selling something" ~ Fezzik's Mother, The Princess Bride. ♥ "To die, would be an awfully big adventure."~ Peter Pan "Do not believe in anything simply because you have heard it. Yeah, that's right. After a few days I think non diluted would be fine, but I just imagine it would sting quite a lot just now.
Oh yeah, the first few days are the worst, I had suuuch a lisp ![]() But it gets better quite quickly [: "Life is pain, anybody that says different is selling something" ~ Fezzik's Mother, The Princess Bride. ♥ "To die, would be an awfully big adventure."~ Peter Pan "Do not believe in anything simply because you have heard it.
