Tragus and rook? - July 20th 2011, 09:49 PM

So I'm getting a tragus piercing soon and possibly a rook piercing. I'm just wondering what to expect pain-wise. That and any experiences with them

My rook was the easiest piercing I've ever had.

My tragus on the other hand... This is the second time I've had it done, and it frequently pisses me off. It takes forever to heal, and it can easily go from being fine to being really swollen and painful overnight.

I've found the one who completes me.
This love is like nothing I've ever felt before. <3

My tragus makes it difficult to find comfortable headphones sometimes, but besides that, it's not too bad. Like Myss said.. healing time sucks, and if you sleep on it.. prepare to feel it in the morning for the first few months.

The initial piercing didn't actually hurt much.. It's not the feeling that gets to you, it's the sound. The sound of it getting pierced really grossed me out.

I have heard that tragus piercings don't always hurt to get initially, but the healing can be quite uncomfortable.
As for the rook piercing, it definitely varies from person to person, but I have mostly heard good things about it.
