Tattoo: Anyone know latin or french? - September 24th 2011, 01:43 PM

I want to get "I Will Overcome" tattooed on my back in one of these two languages (or another if it sounds b/a). Google translate says the Latin is "Ego Vici" and the French "Je Vais Surmonter." Are these grammatically correct? Or close enough...

The French is correct, not sure about the Latin though. Maybe run it through a few translators just to be sure?

to know what it sounds like, go to google translator, type the phrase in french and click on the little volume icon in the lower right corner of the box where you typed. You should be able to listen to the pronounciation of the phrase.
I always do that when I don't know how to pronounce something

the french is in the near future tense. far future is probably something like "je surmonterai"
