Finished Baby Blanket (Pictures!) -

I started working on this blanket a while ago. At first, I had no one to give it to. I thought it was cute and I wanted to make it, so I did. After finding out that my aunt is pregnant with a boy I decided that it will be given to her baby.
 This is a shot of the entire blanket.  And here it is up close, so you can see the sailboats.  I can't wait to give it to my aunt. |

Weirdly, my mother just finished a blanket for my nephew...which looks strangely like that. Are you sharing knitting patterns?

It looks fantastic, Amanda. I can't imagine how long it must of took to do it, there's a lot of detail there. I used to knit and made a scarf once, but I haven't done any more knitting after that. I might start doing it again- it's a good hobby and distraction, I think. What a lovely gift to give to your aunt, and I'm sure she will love it.

Aw, thats amazing! I love it. I wish you could make a blanket for my baby ... lol. I would love something so precious like that! I am glad that your aunt is pregnant and you actually have someone to give it too. Lol, maybe you had some ESP on that note.

I love making my son blankets. I think making a blanket for a baby is one of the best gifts you can ever give them.
