One of my best friends came to visit me yesterday and we had a great day out in the city, and then today my first practical class was so much fun and I learned a lot, and in general I'm feeling cautiously optimistic about things.
I know you are looking for a sea that lies beyond your reach
But im hoping my heart can stop you before you reach the beach
I know you have places to go
I know that you want the sea
But im hoping my heart will grow and that you'll
come back to me.....
A few reasons:
- I am doing well in these classes so far.
- I had an interview today that went really well. She said I was a great fit for the organization and that I had good values, that I'm doing the work for all the right reasons.
- I have an amazing fiancé whom I love with my entire heart. <3

I'm happy today because I found this old post and realized that I'm never letting myself be happy, so now I will.
I'm happy today because I have loving friends who will do anything for me.
I'm happy today because I have a boyfriend that I can trust, even though we live an hour away from each other.
I'm happy today because I get to sleep soon.
A group of girls in my reproductive health class pitched in and got me a birthday card and cupcake. <3 They don't even know me very well, and I found the entire thing incredibly sweet!

I finally passed the class and I feel like I can breathe again.

I'm happy it's so close to Halloween. Ava is super excited too! We are getting the 'treat' buckets ready to give to the places we go trick or treating at. (Ava can't have a lot of candy, and only dark chocolates and 'milk' chocolates made from soy.) I'm doing a deep clean of the house to help pass the time!

I tried this sampler shampoo/conditioner set months ago and I loved it but forgot all about it. Well, yesterday, I needed a new conditioner and bought a random one at the store that looked decent and I get in the shower and am surrounded by the aroma of the amazing sampler one!
I've made two phone calls this morning and I did not panic at all!
MONACHOPSIS
the subtle but persistent feeling of being out of place, as maladapted to your surroundings as a seal on a beach—lumbering, clumsy, easily distracted, huddled in the company of other misfits, unable to recognize the ambient roar of your intended habitat, in which you’d be fluidly, brilliantly, effortlessly at home.

I'm actually in a good mood, and I don't feel like punching the wall! Also, was able to get out of bed this morning, and I successfully drew a tiger

I've spent this Halloween month continuing my crusade in spreading kindness and inspiration as Batman, putting smiles on several faces.

I figured out why my computer's been overheating, and it turns out all I needed to do was disable the program that's been eating up my CPU. Thank goodness.

TA gave me a bad grade for my analysis, but it was because he didn't agree with my claim... Which defeated the entire purpose of my post. Gave me a 7/10.
Emailed the main professor and disputed it hardcore.
Said he agreed with me and will talk to the TA about changing my grade because what he gave me was unfair.
Glad I am starting to learn how to advocate for myself.

My job coach sent me an email saying those people at the job I applied for and didn't get (look at Complaint of the Day) said they would keep my resume which my job coach sent--they never got the one I sent last week because they wanted me to do it via Craiglist. Anyways, they said if there's ever another opening, they'll consider me first!
Oh, and mum's cribbage (or whatever card game old people play) friend has a son with DS. He might come to live here. I will show him the right way, if he does move in! I hope he gets accepted!

I'm happy today because I have such a lovely family. I have no idea what I would do without Jordan and Ava, and I have no intentions of finding out either.

Yesterday was pretty bad, but today I forced myself out of the house to go to a book fair and I ended up spending two hours there alone and that was exactly what I needed. I may have spent more on books this week than on groceries.
I am happy today because...It's such a beautiful day outside. I'm so blessed to be able to wake up and see the beautiful world God has given us. I have such a wonderful family to be able to spend these experiences with. The Lord is good!!!
