I've had a really busy and fun weekend!!! I've actually felt happy recently! 
Today I went to a Nerdfighters event and got my book signed by John Green!!!!!! It was super exciting!

...I finally submitted my application to education for the fall semester.
...I'm not the only one in my English class who didn't get a chance to finish reading the novel before group discussions
...I talked to a couple people in my first English class and made small-talk (even though one is already someone i know from the dorm)
...I'm surprisingly motivated to get my homework done and my french textbook has finally arrived at the bookstore so I can stop carrying around a bunch of loose photocopied papers
...but mostly because the above reasons have more to do with things I've done to make myself happy and take control of my own life as opposed to things others have done
oh ya...and I was complimented
