I found an awesome song today. Feel The Light By Britt Nicole.
It explains my life so much. I love songs like these.
♥ Your heart's tangled up in silence,
It's time to let go,
Feel the light,
I know it's easier to hide,
But you gotta let go,
Feel the light,
Let go and feel the light. ♥

Today when I saw my mom heading toward the laundry room, I told her that I forgot to use laundry detergent so my load needs to be washed again. So she started it up again instead of transferring it to the dryer. Then I started to wonder if I was mistaken about forgetting the laundry detergent; maybe I just wasted the laundry detergent required to wash the second time. I kept telling myself that a little bit of laundry detergent is not a big deal, but I still felt like an idiot. And I am happy today because what I told iMuse turned out to be completely reasonable.

I'm happy today because, as well as going out for Sushi Dinner with my brother, he also took me to the town one of my old high school friends, who I haven't seen for about 7 years, currently lives.
I got to have a fun time eating yummy dinner with my brother, AND see an old friend in the same evening. Yay!

let's say this small example for myself. and i love this idea.
every time i do a favor for someone and get a simple "thank you" , i smile for the rest of the day.
if you don't see a smile on my face, search for the smile that i've got in my heart.
i also smile when i see my dad pass by,when i hear that my cousin is coming to visit me etc..
believe it or not, there IS a reason to smile every day.
After a falling out with someone I thought was my friend, its become more apparent how great Jason really is. I love him so much!

I'm happy today because...
- Today was a decent day at work. The temperature was alright in the greenhouse, so no heat rash, and the manager was really nice to me despite almost firing me on Thursday.
- I've officially got my vacation time booked off for when Jason comes up, he has his vacation time booked off, and he's officially purchased his ticket.
- I may have enough money to go to the Goth Picnic out in the city with some friends next weekend, depending on my paycheque.
- I have tomorrow off work, so I can (hopefully) go run errands, including grocery shopping and getting my banking situation fixed.
- I'm making Vegan Caesar Dressing tonight and going to have a Vegan Chicken Caesar Pita.
Just, one of those days where everything has gone right.

It is a very mean and nasty place and it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it.
