A customer said I was on the ball yesterday and my team leader replied with "she absolutely is, there's no doubt in my mind".
Compared to my last job where my manager said to my face he wasn't sure about me, that's pretty good going.
Also, it's October, and I've cracked open a brand new notebook to start planning for NaNoWriMo next month

I had a surprisingly good (albeit long) day at work yesterday, and I'm picking up more shifts than I thought I would be so I figure I must be doing something right. The extra money doesn't hurt either.
I got my Netflix Daredevil suit in the mail, and it's badass! Now I just need to wait on my helmet.

i'm sort of setting things in motion so that i can study abroad in berlin this summer, which has been a lifelong dream that i never, ever thought would actually happen.
I was able to purchase most of my Christmas decorations and gift wrapping items. I was thinking I was going to have to do it in November and December but I was able to find a lot of stuff today. This is great because I absolutely HATE shopping during the holidays and I don't think I should have to now.
All I really have left to do is purchase a few gifts for three of my nieces, my boyfriend and my dad. I might end up doing all that at the end of November since one of the items I am looking at getting my boyfriend keeps going up and I don't want to end up not being able to get him it.
I have gotten most my Christmas stuff done. I get to relax and read/watch TV all weekend. I think I'm going to try and catch up on American horror story and maybe finish watching the last three or four Halloween movies. Maybe just hocus pocus though.
My cat is cuddling with me a bit. It's likely due to the fact that my boyfriend is out of town but I will, definitely, take any cuddling I can get from her.
