My best friend wrote her college essay about me, here is an excerpt:

However, in seventh grade, I walked into the first day of reading class where we analyzed books and critiqued characters. This was a subject I was well acquainted with, but the girl who sat next to me was not. She had Christmas socks on in September and a pink, feathery accessory in her brown hair. She was the friend I had been waiting for. There was a certain shine about her; she was chatty and unpredictable, outgoing and colorful. For some reason, as opposite as we were, we connected immediately.
