I missed my driving lesson this week as I slept in a hotel on Monday night (I went to a gig with my friend) My dad took me for a sort of lesson today

I can now drive up-hill without stalling

I'm still crap but a lot better than before

All is going well ^____^

Hey! the best tip for driving, is keep relaxed and don't stress, things will fall into place. Glad you're improving though!!

It's really hard to find the bite of the clutch.

Yay! Well done! What I always did to start off on a hill was to rev like hell :P Atleast you wouldn't stall!!

yeah, i also found it hard switching between cars! Its all good practice though! The more you're out between lessons the more confidence you get

That's what I figured out to do

my dad told me to rev in-between 1000 and 2000 but I discovered I have to do it at about 3000

1-2k is for pros, I find 3k easier for hills myself. Btw if you want an easy way to learn to friction point the clutch, start in third gear and keep the revs under 3k while working the clutch to not stall the car or over rev; work with the clutch but keep throttle constant. That's how I was tought and how I tought others and they say it's a great way!
