I don't find this to be good news, to be honest. I hate to rain on your parade, Adelina, but you REALLY need to consider what you're about to do. I know it seems as though this will be a good move for you, but let's think about this logically: is a young girl living on the street by herself going to be a safe haven from sexual assault and abuse? If you want to know my honest opinion, I don't think so at all. If anything, I think it may heighten the situation.
How about this? Instead of just going all out and leaving, why don't you first try a couple of different hotlines in your area. [Thread here]. Try and find out the next step to take. They can get you connected or advise you on how to contact child services or something similar -- some kind of program that actually WILL be able to take you away from abusive situations, rather than put you into worse ones. Please do the right thing and think this through. (: Take care.  |

I agree with Katrina, please look at the Hotlines and find somewhere safe to go. I'm really glad you would be getting out of an abusive situation but I don't like the idea of you moving to live on the street - it's really dangerous and you could end up worse off, unfortunately. So it's kinda good and bad. But, I really really hope things work out for you.

Agree with above, it's dangerous to live alone on the streets. Is there any friends you could stay with or anything?

I agree with everyone else. You could possibly be even worse off if you live on the streets.. It's not necessarily safe there either.
