My Parents are gonna adopt!! -

I'm so excited!! My parents have decided to adopt a little boy!
His story broke my heart, apparently at the orphanage he had to constantly be watched because he would eat food out of the trash  No one knew why...But he's 5 years old, and has the prettiest light brown eyes I've ever seen! I know its gonna be a long process but I can't wait for him to be a member of the family! With 3 girls, its about time we had a brother!

That is so cool! I can just imagine how excited you are
 I know I would. I know it's going to be a long process but it's going to be worth it knowing you are giving him a better life than he would have had somewhere else.Good Luck.!! Everyone is born right-handed. Only the greatest overcome it. |

Thats really amazing. I've always liked the idea of adopting. He sounds like a kid who needs a loving home, and its great your family are willing to give him that

Thanks everyone!!
He can't live with us yet because of legal reasons, but my parents are working on becoming foster parents so that he can live with us during the actual adoption legal processes which can take years. Any suggestions on a gift I can buy him? I mean toys are great and all, but I want something special that will show him I love him and help him remember the day, because unfortunately I will be off to school a lot. |

Well, he's rather young, so getting a gift thats supposed to have meaning may be difficult. Although, if you draw or paint, maybe make him something to hang in his room? I painted my nephews their Chinese Zodiac signs as Christening gifts, since interests change, but your Zodiac sign is forever.
Thats great that you guys are going to have a new family member who needs love so much. Congrats on the new addition!
