Exam results happy :D -

On Tuesday I sat a piano exam in the 'performer zone' (grade 4-5ish). I was under the impression that I had done absolutely terribly. I was nervous to the point I couldn't eat the whole morning, and made some really stupid mistakes in the exam. On top of that, I had to play on the most awful piano. Thus, I was expecting a big, fat F.
I got my results today  I did much better than I thought... just to brag (sorry  )'piece 1- musical use of rhythm with fluent phrasing. Good hand co-ordination with effortless continuity. Good stylistic awareness with an assured feel. 17/20 piece 2-(my worst piece) Effortless continuity and very confident. Fluent technically with a musical rhythm throughout. 17/20 I got 5/5 on the theory, but my aural and sight reading, as usual, were terrible. I still have more than enough to pass though  This has made me very happy today! :3 |

Well done!! I'm always terrible at the aural tests too.
But congratulations, I know piano is very hard. Congrats

That is so amazing! I think sharing good news is not bragging at all! I think a Celebration is an order and you should feel very proud of yourself!
Piano is a beautiful instrument and I would love to learn to play it one day...I will add it on to my "bucket list." I especially love when we "think" we did horribly in something and someone else's perception is completely different and we do better than we thought...give yourself more credit...you deserve it!
