Daily Random Act of Kindness Thread! -

We all have bad days, and having someone do a random act of kindness for you can switch it into a good day!
I think that you all should try to do something kind for someone at least once a day. It can be big, or small. Then post it here.  Today, I helped pick up some books that a lady had dropped.  Dear lovely Miss Katelyn, mod of this forum. I think this is a great thread, Lynds! Random acts of kindness can definitely turn someone's day around
I tried to smile at everyone that I passed today - not really an act of kindness but I know that it makes me feel better when someone random smiles at me

Today, I wrote a compliment on a sticky note for everyone in my program [27 people!] and put it on their desk to find. I plan to write a bunch more soon. I hope it makes others happy. :]

I went to an arts and crafts program. When it was over, they let me take home some of the left over flowers. I gave one to my friend and one to her friend, who was crying. I know that's weird. I'll do something better tomorrow! |

I made a new friend. We stayed up almost all night. Almost got into trouble talking away.
I really needed someone here. I felt so alone and like an outsider. I was trying to fit in but not to hard. She is sooo nice and told her thank you. Sorry if my post doesn't belong here.

Yesterday at the store this old lady (Like the sterotypical little-old-lady who's nintey) had a huge pile of cans, she stumbled and dropped all of them. I rushed over to help her (Which seemed to surprise her) and then she offered me five dollars. I didn't need the money, I mean I would've liked it, but I turned her down. I felt good about myself all day.

I was at the book store and I heard some woman in a chair across from me drop a book and wisper "Oh F**k!"
I was thinking "geeze, lady. It's no biggie" then I aucutally looked at her and she was pregnent and her book said "Being A Single Parent". She was really big and struggeling to get it so as soon as I realised I jumped up and grabed the books for her. She was very thankful, but I still feel aweful for judging her so quickly . . . So I pretend that I'm amazed, .and that I can't believe my eyes He made the world disappear! But I do that trick, all the fucking time  But only one is a wanderer, Two are always going somewhere. |

Today I was in the drive thru at starbucks thinking about how I shouldn't be there because I'm going through a rough financial time right now. I get up to the window and the lady says that the person in the car in front of me paid for my coffee! I was so happy I started crying!
So then I did it for the person behind me.
