I Changed My Name :D -

My old name used to be Alisha and well, I hate that name because its too common so, my new name as of tonight is Brooke
 I got inspired to use this because my favorite character from Popular the TV Show is named Brooke lolThe only sad thing is my brother is acting like he HATES me for it  and it makes me feel so ANNOYED at him 
Everthing I see seems to be a lie. And everything you see in me you think is the truth. But, really all you see is what I'm masking the real me with. You never see me cry. Because I'll never let you. And you'll never see me die because I feel like I already have in a way.

 I'm legally changing my name when I turn 18. ^^ And honestly, your brother may just not understand why you're doing it, you can try explaining to him if you want, but if you let him be, I'm sure he'll come around eventually.

I'd talk to your brother about it. It could be a big change, and he probably always thought of you as his sister Alisha, but now that sister is gone and he has one named Brooke. Explaining to him how much this means to you, and how you haven't really changed will help him.
