Today is amazing. It has been 2 years since I agreed to start dating Jeff.
 They have been wonderful 2 years despite many horrible events...He always finds a way to make it better.Backstory: I was in a long distance relationship (visiting him for a month every two or three months) when I met Jeff on the same dating site I met the guy I was with. I made it clear I wanted friendship and he would get a firm slap if he tried anything. So after only 2 weeks of talking on June 5th, 2009 we met. I babbled like I never have before and he listened. Fully listened. We cuddled on the couch and he stayed the night. Every weekend for the next 3 months he would come over. A few times I went to his place. No kissing, nothing. Just talking and laughs. He helped me with my depression, and helped me through rape. He was turning into my knight in shining armor. July 15th the other guy randomly decided he wanted a girlfriend close at home, but told me on this day. Apparently dating the girl for 5. I was devastated. Jeff helped me through this too. Around August I knew I wanted to be with him, but I knew it would be wrong since I still thought of my ex. I told him this. He was fine with it. September 10, 2009 I got drunk for the first time and a family friend took advantage. We didn't have sex, thankfully, though he used my hand to help himself. The next morning he left and I told Jeff "I did something with someone else" because I felt very guilty. He wouldn't talk to me. I tried to kill myself after I told my mom. My sister stopped me. My mom called Jeff to explain it wasn't exactly willing as I was not in a place to say yes or no. That night Jeff came over and said he forgives me and it wasn't really my fault either. One week later, September 17th, we were sitting on his couch when I said, "Ask me." He looked at me and said, "Kelly, will you be my girlfriend?" I replied, "I almost lost you before I had you and it was horrifying. Yes." And we have been together for 2 years today. What more could a girl ask for? <3 So you have gray hair and you're only 26
