I went to the football game with my first boyfriend last night. He's a sophmore and I'm a freshman, but I really like him! I've known him for a while because I did a camp with his sister, Haley, and we kind of went from there.

So there's this big RS made of rocks on one side of the football field and that's where a lot of the elementary school kids go, so it was fairly empty. Anyways, we were sitting above the RS, and he had his arm around me and we were just kind of sitting there, talking. I fix my hair a lot (i.e. I run my hands through it all the time) and I did it without even thinking. He goes "Tori, you fix your hair all the time! " and I said "I know, it's just a habit...something I just do!" and he was like "Look at me" and I did and he said "I think you look beautiful"
Then he leaned in and kissed me

I was so happy. I really like this guy. I'm a smart kid (not to be concieted) and I know what's wrong from right. I learned that from my friends' experiences. Two girls who give me shit all the time told my best friend he was a player and that he was just using me, but I don't believe them.
Or, I don't want to believe them.
He doesn't seem that way, but I don't know. And does it make me a slut if I make out with him? I've only been his girlfriend for about a week, and we have a year difference (me being a high school freshman)....
Sigh.

I don't think a couple should have to wait to make out (although I wouldn't make out on the first date) but rather it's just whenever you are ready to take it to the next step and make out. I don't think it'd be slutty if you made out with him, because honestly it's your call.
About the whole player thing, it could be rumor or just a bad past that could be gone. I think that you should judge him on whether you think he's a player or not, just trust your judgement. Or find out why your friends say this, if your friends heard that he did something from someone else it could be a rumor. But don't dump him for what others say, just wait and see I guess

Interesting point of view :P not being american I don't know how old being a freshman makes you, but going further than making out.. WHEN you're ready and when you've been dating longer.. does not make you a slut. Just to point that out.
