I am not really sure where to put this or if it's the wine talking haha, but the past few days I have been thinking about how lucky I am and thankful for all the amazing doctors I have and of course all those who have helped me recover from every surgery or accident.
I am still in recovery and having to do Physical Therapy 3 times a week plus at home stuff and I still get constant pain, but when I look back 4 months ago, I was couch bound with a broken leg and trying to recover from an intense surgery. I know a long trip is still ahead of me, but I am slowly recovering from 4 surgeries and 2 degree burns, each day. People tell me everyday, how I have been through more than anyone they ever know and yet I still have a huge smile on my face and positive attitude. Ya know? No matter what I have gone through, it makes me stronger each and every day. And, I am just now starting to realize that. Yeah, my journey isn't over (medically) but in the end things will be okay, and I believe in that. I am extremely thankful for my Ortho Doctor, Ortho nurses, PTs, PTAs, Heart doctors, friends and family. Because of them, I have hope again with life. I have hope in, that there is a beautiful life out there for everyone, but we just have to do soul searching and wake up from the nightmares to realize this. And, start to believe that there is a positive future out there for everyone. <3 |

I'm so glad you've been so positive about this! I'm also glad you're getting better and I hope you have a speedy recovery

It's awesome to see how positive you're being. It's such an inspiration to see how much you've been through and how kind you're still willing to be. That shows a lot of strength. I wish you a speedy recovery as your journey continues.

you seem like a very strong person! Stay strong!
When someone apologizes enough times for something they'll never stop doing I think its fearless to stop believing them. I think its fearless to say "Your NOT sorry" and walk away.
