So I woke up this morning to a text from my ex... He had to go to court for a driving related incident. He said "No jail for Jeffery." I told him that was good and text him "Why do you text me if you don't want to talk to me?" And he beat around the bush.
I finally told him that I'm done with all this and I'm ready to move on if he's not ready to try and work things out. I told him texting was juvenile and I wanted to meet him somewhere public to talk. We got on the phone and he told me he wanted to meet me tomorrow... I said tonight. I picked him up and we went for coffee. We talked, went back to his house. Talked some more. We finally agreed that we would take things slow... As in a date and spending time together. I asked if I could hug him. He let me hold him for quite awhile, which was surprising. He said he didn't want to have sex yet and he wasn't ready to. But he told me that when we do get to that point again it would be worth it... Then I asked if I could at least kiss him. So I get out to the car and It's really foggy and cold. He let's me warm up with him in his jacket and we kiss. We have never kissed each other like that. It honestly felt like we rekindled something bigger and better than we had before. I'm meeting him tomorrow. Oh, and by the way... He told me he loved me before I left. Teenhelp... Thank you for getting me through this. From the bottom of my heart. This is certainly great news! I'm glad things have worked out in your favor. Just remember, he wants to take things slowly, so abide by that. Don't try to rush things, like bringing up marriage or an engagement or even having sex too soon. When he's ready for these things, you'll know.

Am glad to hear things are improving for you.
 As Shannon has said, remember that he wants to take things slowly and take things a step at a time, but it certainly sounds very encouraging and if you do that then you should be fine.Very best of luck.
