I had a brilliant, brilliant day today!


In first block, my History class was watching Gone With The Wind... My friend Savanna started crying at the end, and I nearly started crying when I saw she was crying... We probably looked like a bunch of sissies, but I don't really give a damn, haha.

Then I walked around with my best friend Kattie all day. Despite the fact that she's a super-Christian and I'm an atheist, we get along so well, and today, I was reminded why.


While walking with her. I passed my ex, who I dumped a few weeks ago, and who has been spreading rumors among everyone who will listen about how pushy and bossy I am... However, I am entirely unaffected. I now have no feelings for him whatsoever.

Today he held the door open, slipped past me, and tried to laugh and ram his shoulder into mine like he always had before.


I moved out of the way, told Kattie: "If he's starts this again, I'm gonna kill him," and that's all I said on the matter, because I really didn't feel the need to say anything else about him. It made me feel very proud and happy that I was able to turn him down so easily, whereas I'd never been able to before.



My mother came to sign me out, and when I got downstairs to the first floor, my seven-year-old little brother ran down the hallway and gave me a huge hug and said: "I missed you, Nana."

My day.... Has just been altogether nice.
