I'm so proud of myself. :) - February 9th 2012, 11:41 PM

This year, I took a theater class. I made it into the advanced class on my first year because of an audition I did, but until now, I really dreaded the class every day, because I was a nervous wreck.

I'm proud of myself now, 'cause I can sing very loudly and hit notes that no one else can, I'm getting louder and more creative when I'm acting, and probably the best thing of all is that I've been excepted into one of the cliques in the class. The class is made up almost entirely of really popular kids, and at first, I was extremely intimidated. Somehow, though, I've managed to assimilate myself into their ranks without making an epic fool of myself. I've realized that the vast majority of them which I originally took to be stuck-up are actually not.

In fourth block English today, I proved myself one of the smartest kids in there. We were playing a vocabulary game in which one kid at a time would challenge you and say that they could think of the word for the definition before you, and stay up as long as you possibly could. I stayed up for a whole fifteen or twenty minutes, and when I finally sat down, the next time I was up, people were telling the other person they were gonna be beat because I was so good at remembering the things, lol.

Oh, yeah, and in spektrum (our dancing chorus), my friends and I got good marks for a move that I came up with... Even if one of my friends nearly jerked my arm out of its socket spinning me around, lol. And only most of the girls who usually annoy me almost to the point of violence were not there, which no doubt accounted for my better in-class performances today.

Life is so awesome.

It takes a long time to grow an old friend.

Wow, way to go! It's amazing to find your muse, isn't it?

We were meant to live for so much more; have we lost ourselves somewhere we live inside?

That's great! I'm glad you had such a wonderful day

At some point you gotta stop looking up at the sky or one of these days you'll look back down and see that you floated away, too.

“I believe that everything happens for a reason. People change so that you can learn to let go, things go wrong so that you appreciate them when they're right, you believe lies so you eventually learn to trust no one but yourself, and sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together.”- Marilyn Monroe
