I stayed home with my family. They actually went out later to see some fireworks, but I stayed home.

I went to a baseball game. Very 'merican of me.

Left, me, right, sister. We're going to pretend the photo quality is good. We're also going to pretend the Diamondbacks won.

I stayed home with family but then I went to watch the fireworks at the waterfront with a couple friends.

Oh man, I thought you were supposed to write your name after the write-in vote...apparently it does it automatically. EMBARRASSING...

First, my answer to the original question is obvious.
Second, I love watching people not realise that it automatically adds your name.
Third, there appears to be someone who added a write-in but didn't vote on their own option.
And fourth, I love that I started a trend with my write-in.

I stayed home and had a Barbecue with family and friends. The entire state had fireworkes banned in any form, so the closest thing I could have seen was a laser show. Yep. That was my 4th of July. It was actually kinda fun, but I'll admit I did miss the fireworks that we normally see every year.

Southwest, I assume. My hometown has had their fireworks banned for probably ten years because it's too dry. I'm just lucky that I was in a city with no trees, so a very little fire hazard.

And bitesize, I have done the same thing. Everybody has to have their first write-in fail.

Usually I'm up at my aunt's cottage on the fourth but it had to be crummy this year and land on a Wednesday. Everyone was working so we went up to the lake this weekend a few days late.

Stayed at home with my baby and my boyfriend's dad and step-mom. It was 105 degrees and WAY too hot to take the baby outside.

I stayed home and shot off fireworks.

Late response. My bad.

I stayed home. And I watched fireworks. But I didn't go anywhere, I sat on my porch and watched the dud fireworks the city gave. So I added my own vote, hehe.

Re: What did you do for the 4th - July 12th 2012, 03:41 PM

On the actual 4th I didn't really do anything because nothing was going on. I just went home and visited my family, since I had not been home since Memorial Day. I visited my grandma in the hospital, also. I did see some Fireworks on the 3rd of July when I was driving home. (I left campus at about 9 p.m., after night class).

Fireworks were on the 6th & 7th of July, which I saw both days. I also went to the water park with a friend.

I was on my honeymoon with my new husband! We escaped America and decided to go on a cruise to Canada. On the 4th, we were in St. John, New Brunswick, which was historically a loyalist city during the Revolution. Not very patriotic this year, eh?
The celebration of the 4th came with our OWN creation of fireworks that night (if ya know what I mean...).

Canada for the fourth? That sounds kind of fun. My dad was in Mexico for the fourth once. True Americans are American, even abroad.

We had a huge fire ban so even the profetional fireworks were canceled It sucks. The ban was really strict so I kept telling my dad, "you can't even "flic' your bic"" :P It wasn't quite funny, but it made sense at least. I went over to my friend Rebel's and her, her girlfriend, our other friend and I watched season 4 of Hetalia :3 It was amazing so over all it was a pretty good day.
