Life and I have a love hate relationship - October 28th 2012, 02:55 AM

So while I was sitting here thinking about why I constantly worry and can't ever seem to stop worrying it dawned on me.

I see all these other people who are so happy and are enjoying life and I so wish that I could feel that way. Every time I think something great might happen and I might actually be happy, something happens.

I know the whole sermon about how dating isn't important right now, what's important is school and blah blah blah. But for once I wish someone could at least like me. I'm honestly not a terrible person.
Then my friends never have any time to hang out and I suggest that we should soon and then I look and find that they manage to have time to hang out with other people.

Then school my teachers are terrible and I have so much work that I can't even think and I am taking both my junior and senior year this year. My teachers are threatening to give me bad grades or kick me out of their class cause I haven't caught up on the work I missed when I went to Italy. I don't know what to do anymore. I just wish something would work out for once...

I know the feeling .

OK, to start, catch up on that work...and, I don't know the circumstances around when you may or may not be able to go on holiday, but if it's possible, don't go during school time again. Discuss that with whomever organises holidays.
As far as teachers being awful goes, I can't help you...but don't give them any reasons to threaten you with low grades.

Dating - or at least socialising - can be very important right now...just school is too.
Do you have accounts on social networks, like Facebook? (actually, specifically FB) Try utilising these; add friends, and message people. It can be really useful for getting to know a bit more about people whom you "know" but don't really know properly.

If you're constantly worried, you might want to see a counciller or doctor, just to check that there are no medical conditions that might make you feel worried.
