Unity Day 2013!! - January 29th 2013, 11:35 PM

Sorry, guys I haven't posted in a while. I've been busy. Ok anyway. Today, was unity day. For our school, that means everyone wears the same shirt. They say 'Uknighted' because we are century knights. I know it sounds really gay, but it's public school so what do you expect. Unity day is where we come together as a school and as a community. Unity day is when we hear personal stories. Unity day is where we learn that we all have been through the same experiences. Unity day is where we cross the line. Unity day is where we get rid of all the stereotypes. Unity day is not just a day to get out of class. Unity day is not only today, but everyday. I don't know if there will be a video this year, but as soon as I know I will post the video so you guys can get a better understanding of what it is and is all about.

This sounds pretty cool! I wish my school did that.

That is awesome!! The school I graduated from had a Unity Day too. We did about all the same things but at the end of the school day we has a contest. We all worked as a class to do several tasks and everyone in the class played a major part so we all worked together to win. Unity Day is awesome because its a day because no matter what clique you are in, what sport you play, or who you date everyone is equal
