Talk Back - April 4th 2013, 12:19 AM

Today is the day, you are not listen to the nasty voice in your head. Whatever, it tells you don't listen to it. If it helps write it all down what it tells you and then on the other side talk back to it. If your angry, punch a pillow. If your sad, cry. If your nervous, click a pen. It's going to be ok. You don't have to STOP your behaviors just learn to sit with thought. Call a friend. Distract yourself. Try saying for 5 minutes I won't do x,y,z. Then, add another 5 minutes. And so on. Then, post about it. I will very proud of you and you should be proud of you to. If we don't talk back then x,y,z will snowball on us. That be very dangerous for you and others around you. No one said this process was going to be easy or short. Your going to have days when you want to give up, but push through I promise you will come out the other side happier and healthier.

Thanks for sharing this! c: Like Kayla and Christabel have said, it's very well-written, and, who knows, it might just give someone out there the motivation they need.
