Brain Freezes. - June 19th 2013, 04:48 AM

HEY GUYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!! .

Okay, so for those who want to know the answer to the well asked question "How do you stop a brain freeze?", it's pretty simple. All you do is put your thumb on the roof of your mouth and press. But why does this work, what does that do, does anyone have ANY idea .

I ask weird questions LOL.

But believe that there is much more good in it than bad.
All you have to do is look hard enough,
And what might seem to be a series of unfortunate events may in fact be the first steps of a journey.”

I could be completely wrong, but I think it has something to do with the nerves in the roof of your mouth and/or the sinuses that that run to your head so if you interrupt the "cold" signal by blocking the holes in the roof of your mouth the sensation stops. It's also true that not everyone gets them, my mom, for example has never had one, but I get them all the time.

I can't say why it works like that, but, damn, I had a slushie earlier and this method came in handy, so thanks!
