Weird dreams. - September 13th 2015, 05:35 PM

Not sure where to post this, but I'm just naturally curious about these weird dreams that I've been having.
One, involves my boyfriend getting into a car accident. I'm always there with him, but I'm never hurt or anything like that. It's like I'm watching it from inside the car. I always wake up with chest pains and Palpations. (I have a heart condition)
Second, I also keep having dreams about sleeping with my old softball coach. I have no thoughts about him like that...at all. Yeah he was young and he wasn't bad looking, but I didn't want to sleep with him. The thought of sleeping with a teacher of mine, is weird. I also had a dream with him in it as well, where he was really disappointed in me and didn't want to see me ever again. But then everything was okay?

Embrace the beautiful mess that you are.

Having these dreams are completely okay. When you are thinking of something right before you sleep, occasionally you will dream about those thoughts. Have you thought a lot about these things while laying down in bed right before sleep?

Also, if you're really curious and do think that your dreams mean something, there are dream interpretation books that you can purchase or borrow that can tell you what those dreams mean.

Sometimes breathing, in through your nose and out through your mouth, while paying attention to your breathing, before going to sleep, can help you curb those thoughts.

I'm sorry that you're experiencing these terrifying and intrusive dreams.
