Question Blog question - October 24th 2015, 11:29 PM

Hey, so I blog a bit here but I feel like I write to much there (I mean this is a forum site after all...) I just thought I'd ask if anyone could recommend a good site to start a blog (preferably a small one without huge ads & fonts)...
I feel like I just want to vent a bit to often so it would help if I found a site I could write freely on...
Thanks in advance!

Wordpress is great and very simple to use. It's also free and has no ads. There are plenty of themes to choose from too!

It's actually fine to blog here as much as you want. Some make 2-3 or more blogs on a given day. As for 1 that has pretty much no ads, etc...there isn't any that I know of. You could always just open up notepad or or any word processing document on your computer and just blog there. Afterwards you can just close it and not save it so you don't risk anyone finding it if you don't want them to.

The above posters have given some good advice and I don't blog but I wanted to provide reassurance!

If you are ever worried that you're blogging too much, you can always go to a staff member that keeps watch over the blogs as part of their role such as the Community Moderators and the Forums and Community officer for reassurance. You can find these staff members in the staff list.

You're welcome to write on your blog here at TeenHelp. Some users post 2 or 3 blogs a day and that's perfectly fine. TeenHelp is a safe place for you to vent out your frustrations and what is going on in your life so don't feel afraid to post to your blog. TeenHelp is a forum but other features such as the blogs are there for a reason and you can use the blogs whenever you need. Blogging is personal because it's a good healthy outlet for you and besides, your friends here probably want to hear how you are and how things are going for you.

Like said you have been given some good advice but I just wanted to add that sometimes I feel like Blog too much, you know. But this site is here to help you do what helps you. And if blogging helps you on here, then go for it. As long as it doesn't break the coc, which I am sure you wouldn't, it's fine. You can blog as much as you want about how you feel and what's going on for you. Sometimes I blog twice a day. In fact look at my blog count. I've been blogging here for years and it really helps me.

If you want a chat or anything, feel free to message me. You're not alone in this and we want you to do what helps you!

Take good care of yourself.

Re: Blog question - October 25th 2015, 04:07 PM

Hey Nina!

I am glad that everyone was able to help you.
I do not blog often but some people here do. You can write as many entries as you would like (so long as they are not against the Terms of Service) as Jessie mentioned.
I find when I blog that it helps me vent and organize my thoughts/emotions.
Whatever blogging does for you, if it is helpful, keep doing it!
Take care.

I am going to close this since the original question was answered. If you have any questions about this, do not hesitate to PM me and I will get back to you as soon as I can.
