Talking 16th bday advice - January 5th 2016, 01:36 AM

hey guys I'm Ali and i was wondering if anyone has any ideas of what there is to do for 16th bday parties?

A little bit about me:
-My favorite band is Black Veil Brides (I would loved that to be involved somehow)
-I'm not very girly at all.
-Disney related is an option
-i live in Florida
-i'm what others consider emo. *rolls eyes*
Thanks for the help

For one of my friends birthday parties, we went to a park and played music and we had themed cupcakes, hers were Harry Potter themed but yours could be Disney themed, and then we just played party games. You could play BVB as the music if you wanted to as well. You could google some party game ideas for your 16th that you could do outside. If you didn't want to do it at a park, you could do it at your house or somewhere. Just a suggestion. To be honest for mine I was planning on watching plenty of Doctor Who and eating junk food all day ( ) so you could do that with your favourite show or something as well.

I agree, you can do a combination of things. It is your day after all.
I have never had too much for birthdays. I just have cake, ice cream and presents with family (and have invited a friend or two every so often).
But you can look into celebrating how you want so long as your parents are cool with it and you stay within a set budget.
You could have cupcakes decorated as your favorite tv show or you could have decorations related to Disney Etc.
It is up to you.
I hope that planning goes well.

Hi there.

I know someone who had a Marvel and DC themed 21st and it was really good.

But here's a couple of sites for 16th birthday party theme ideas:

You can maybe check out Pinterest as well to see if it helps.

I hope I helped!

For my 16th birthday I had a joint fancy dress party with a friend who also had a birthday at about the same time. We did it Doctor Who themed. The main cost came from hiring a hall to have it in, but if you invite less people you could do it in a house. Everyone came in costume, and we had a small prize for the best costume. We printed themed decorations from the internet, put up a TARDIS wardrobe (the kiddy fabric ones you can buy), and baked a ton of food that was all themed. There was dancing and music, but we also had a quiz half way through.

I have a friend who did something similar for a birthday, but she had it Disney themed. It might sound a little babyish, but it was actually loads of fun, and I had guests from ages 4 through to 18 who all enjoyed it.
