How to Know if Volunteer Application Was Received - August 28th 2016, 04:33 PM

Hi!

I applied to be a LiveHelp Operator early August, but haven't heard anything. I'm really sorry if it actually has been submitted properly, but the day I sent the application, my internet was a bit iffy so I really wasn't sure if it was submitted properly (and I didn't want to end up sending the same form twice). Is there a way for me to find out if my application did end up being submitted?

Thank you and apologies if it was and I just sound impatient :/

Hey Kyra,

We did receive it! I know it has been a few weeks, but it can take awhile sometimes to process the applications. We appreciate you being patient while we work on it! Feel free to let me know if you have anymore questions.

Here is a tip for anyone waiting to hear back about an application: While you wait, be sure to keep active around the forums. We look over the advice you provide to users on the forums. We look for quality over quantity, but staying active is important!

Hey, Kyra! Since Lizzie has answered your question, I'm going to close this now.

Don't forget that working on any staff team (in real life or online) is all about communication and teamwork, so if you have a question definitely ask someone! You're definitely not a bother at all. If you have any other questions feel free to post another thread or PM a Staff member (Volunteering Officer or Live Help Officer would probably be able to help you best).

Best of luck with your application.
Oliver.

There is nothing pretty about damage, about pain, about heartache.
What is beautiful is their strength, their resilience, their fortitude
as they display an ocean of courage when they pick through the
wreckage of their life to build something beautiful brand new,
against every odd that is stacked against them.” — Nikita Gill
