Themed Newsletter - March 28th 2019, 04:11 AM

Hello everyone,

The Newsletter is going to be trying to implement a themed newsletter in the next few months. In order to do that we need your help in choosing a theme. I am creating a poll with three themes and you get to decide which one interests you the most.

If you have any questions feel free to ask. The poll will close on the 21st of April.

I voted PTSD but went back and forth between this and ED. Main reason I picked PTSD because I think a lot of people aren't aware of how bad it can effect people and not just people in the army.

Don't lose who you are, in the blur of the stars
Seeing is deceiving, dreaming is believing,
It's okay not to be okay
Sometimes it's hard, to follow your heart
Tears don't mean you're losing, everybody's bruising,
Just be true to who you are

I was torn between the three but I eventually voted for Bipolar which I seem to be the only one so far.

I chose bipolar because it is what I have and it seems like very few people understand it. And it pisses me off when someone says "you're bipolar" in a condescending way, even though that person does not have a bipolar diagnosis.

I picked ED cause there is a lot of misconceptions around who can get an eating disorder. There’s a big stereotype and because of it a lot of people are untreated and a lot aren’t diagnosed.

It was hard to pick one though.

Totally agree. Even now, I still get that a lot; many people still think it's just a military thing. And it does really change your everyday life more than most people would think.
