Given that most mainstream media now uses paywalls, I dislike journalists in general, and information is rapidly spread through free channels, I dont really have an answer for you other than there is usually some sort of bias and simply looking at the facts(which are usually free) is how I make conclusions. I no longer rely soley on news media for news and find it really odd that it was the norm to do so when I was a kid.

It is very similar to the annoying practice of journalists talking over a raw self explanatory video. Now, I just read the headline and go digging for the stats. I skip journalists entirely. In fact, I want journalism to die as a profession.

COVID hype was a lie and in the long run was unfortunately a giant gift to conservatives. It may have led to Trump's defeat in 2020, but the brief surge in opposing activism became repulsive as it spread into 2022- because it restricted personal freedom and caused massive inflation. And a good percent of people got COVID anyways. This led to Trump winning in 2024 which is arguably a worse outcome than Trump winning 2020.

I lost my best friends because I wouldnt take that fucking garbage.. I tried to tell them it was dangerous and they got meaner and meaner...

Im still trying to get them back :(
