Passwords. - March 20th 2010, 07:20 PM

Hey all!
So it says I was online yesterday, no posts or anything, but I was not online at all yesterday. I wasn't on because I hung out with a friend yesterday, had lots of fun! But yeah, not online at all yesterday.
Should I be worried and change my passwords?

Hey JJ,

It does sound a little strange that the website says that you have been online when you haven't and I'd be a little bit suspicious too. I don't think that there's any harm in changing your password, just to be on the safe side. I'm glad that you had a good day yesterday too, by the way!

Take care.

This kind of thing has happened to me before on other websites, and I made sure to change my password just in case. Seeing as someone could misuse your account and possibly end up getting you in trouble, I would change your password, just to play it on the safe side. You never know, right?

i don't think the 'last online' thing is all that accurate to be honest. but yeah, change your password.. you may as well.

Yeah i would have to agree with the others, changing your password would be the safest way to go.

It says it to me sometimes, that I was on at a certain time, but wasn't.. However changing your password once in a while is a good idea

Also, you should take into consideration that you may have your account set on 'Remember Me' so everytime you go onto the site, you automatically are logged in. That may be another reason too. I think it's always wise to have to manually type and log in each time. It's a lot safer, and you won't have to worry too much about someone logging in as you.

I agree with Kelsey, if you have it to remember you, it will sign you in whenever ANYONE goes onto this site. kinda creepy actually
