This morning I logged on to find these flashy "Learn how to get ripped in 4 weeks" advertisements. WTF are those things doing here??? Not only are these ads NOT PG-13 friendly as this site is supposed to be, THEY ARE, FIRST AND FOREMOST, SCAMS with the purpose of targeting and taking advantage of unwitting people. This forum is aimed for an age group where not all people know about what these bad companies can do or falsely put trust in them because of the false popular brand endorsements so the placement of these ads here is a really, really bad and dangerous thing. The product is fake, it does not work and in fact there are many reports of people getting sick as a result, and once they have a hook on a checking account or credit card number they just take money from it over and over without authorization.
Also, the "download 65 games for free" ad, the plugin is a VIRUS! If someone from administration sees this please have these advertisements pulled immediately. I am posting here because the bugs and suggestions forum is closed? I understand that the website needs money to function but please screen these advertisements before putting them up... |

Re: Inappropriate and Scam Advertisements -

Hey there,
If you want to alert an administrator of something that you're not happy with concerning the site, then please send a private message to either Mel or Rob. It would also probably help if you include the URL of the advertisement that you're concerned about. I'm going to close this now as I think that this is something that you're really going to have to discuss with the administrators. If you have any questions as to why I'm closing this, please feel free to contact me. Take care. |
